Payment can be made by cash, cheque, Mastercard, Visa, Maestro or American Express. If paying for concert tickets by cheque, please make your cheque payable to 'The Bridgewater Hall'.
From 1 November 2011
The Bridgewater Hall have introduced a booking fee of £2.00 per ticket, which applies to most transactions. No booking fee will apply to tickets bought in person at the Box Office using cash or a debit card. No fee applies to tickets bought as part of a fixed or flexible subscription.
Box Office opening hours (as at May 2011)
Monday to Saturday 10am–6pm (8pm on concert nights)
Sunday (concert nights only) 12pm–8pm
Closed on non-concert Sundays
Flexible subscriptions
Receive discounts on the full ticket price when you book for five or more concerts from The Bridgewater Hall’s 2011–2012 classical seasons – all events are included unless otherwise stated.
Choose 5 or more concerts and save 15%
Choose 16 or more concerts and save 25% (available through the Box Office only)
No booking fee applies to subscriptions (flexible or fixed).
Too much to pay in one go?
You can pay for your tickets by direct debit in five monthly instalments from Thursday 1 September 2011 when you spend £200 or more. Bookings must have been made by Friday 29 July 2011.
(Please note the Box Office cannot accept direct debits on online bookings.)
Hallé Day Tickets
A limited number of tickets will be available for each concert on the day, priced at £10*. They can be booked in person, by phone or online but must be paid for at the time of booking.
* Bridgewater Hall Booking Fees may apply.
(Day tickets are not available for Family/Youth Ensemble performances.)
Choir seats
Choir seats are available for most concerts where the Choir is not performing. Contact the Box Office for full details.
(Please note that we do not recommend the Choir seats for concerts involving singers.)
Ticket Exchange
If you are unable to attend a concert, we will credit your account with the cost of your tickets, provided they are physically returned to the Box Office at least 3 working days before the concert date. This credit amount (minus a fee of £2.20 per ticket) can then be used to purchase tickets for another concert of your choice.
Concessionary and standby tickets
(Please note these tickets are subject to availability)
Students, under 26s and claimants can purchase single tickets at 10% off on production of appropriate identification. Students may also purchase special £3 stalls tickets for Hallé Thursday Series and Opus One Wednesday performances.
From two Mondays prior to the performance, Over 60s may purchase any remaining tickets and get a 20% discount.
Concessions are available to disabled patrons who are members of The Bridgewater Hall’s Access Scheme. For full details on this, including how to join the scheme, please visit www.bridgewater-hall.co.uk
Group discounts
Discounts of up to 25% are available, depending on the size of your group.
Groups of 10-29 – save 10%
Groups of 30-49 – save 15%
