Professional Experience Schemes
Supported by the Musicians Benevolent Fund
The Hallé has been committed to the development of young musicians since Sir Charles Hallé’s day. In association with the Royal Northern College of Music, the Hallé delivers two schemes for talented musicians studying an orchestral instrument at the College. Both these schemes offer opportunities for students to perform alongside the musicians of the Hallé in both rehearsals and concerts at The Bridgewater Hall.
The String Leadership String Course is for postgraduate students and the Professional Experience Scheme for Wind, Brass and Percussion is for both undergraduates and postgraduate students studying at the RNCM.
