The Hallé continues to work towards its founder’s great ideals. There are many discounts and cost-saving subscriptions available. We continue to offer the best-loved music from the repertoire, as well as exciting new works from all over the world in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We want you to enjoy music of the highest quality, an experience that leaves you breathless, exhilarated and wanting to come back for more!

You can book single tickets for concerts at The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester online from this site (look for BOOK NOW on the concert details) or by calling the box office on 44 (0) 161 907 9000.

Booking is now open. You can book by post, fax, telephone, online or in person.

How to book

By post to the Box Office, The Bridgewater Hall, FREEPOST NWW 1027 Manchester M2 9EF. There is no charge for booking a subscription by post.
By fax on 44 (0) 161 907 9001
By telephone 44 (0) 161 907 9000 or 0845 345 0009 (local rate). There is a £2 fee per transaction.
Online for single tickets. There is a £1.50 fee per transaction.
In person at the Box Office, The Bridgewater Hall, Lower Mosley Street, Manchester M2 3WS. There is no charge for booking tickets in person.
Opening hours are 10.00am - 8.00pm Monday to Saturday; 12noon - 6.00pm Sundays (later on concert nights); closed on Sundays in August.

Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Delta or AMEX all welcome.

Ticket exchange

If you are unable to attend a concert, we will credit your account with the cost of your tickets, provided they are physically returned to the Box Office at least three working days before the concert date. This credit amount (minus a return fee of £2.20 per ticket) can then be used to purchase full-price tickets for another concert of your choice in the next twelve months.

Too much to pay in one go?

You can pay for your tickets in five monthly instalments by direct debit from 1 September 2006 when you spend £150 or more.

Concessionary tickets (subject to availability)

Students, under 26s and claimants can purchase single tickets at 20% off on production of appropriate identification.

Standby tickets (subject to availability)
On the day of the concert, all the above categories may purchase any remaining tickets at 30% off. From two Mondays prior to the concert, Senior Citizens may purchase any remaining tickets at 30% off.

Access Information and parking

Disabled patrons and blue badge holders are entitled to half-price seats for themselves and a companion. Seats for wheelchair users are available on all levels - see the seating plan for details. Call the Box Office on 44 (0) 161 907 9000 for further information about disabled facilities and an Access Guide.

Parking your car - save money
Convenient car parking can be found in the Great Northern Square car parks and the adjacent NCP Central Car Park beneath G-Mex, which is directly linked to the Hall by an underpass beneath Lower Mosley Street.

Purchase your prepaid car park voucher in advance, when you buy your tickets, and save money on the standard evening rate. Vouchers are valid from 5.00pm and cost £4.60 per car. As you enter the car park, you will be offered a standard car park ticket. On leaving the car park, you will need to insert this standard car park ticket and then your prepaid car park voucher, in order to exit the car park.

Disabled parking
(Call the Box Office for full details of disabled facilities and to request a copy of the Access Guide.)
For patrons in wheelchairs and those with severe mobility difficulties, Central Car Park offers a limited number of free parking spaces. The complimentary voucher must be booked when you pay for your concert tickets. Vouchers are valid from 5.00pm. As you enter the car park, you will be offered a standard car park ticket. On leaving the car park, you will need to insert this standard car park ticket and then your complimentary voucher, in order to exit the car park. Wheelchair patrons can be dropped off in the lay-by on Lower Mosley Street, but this space must not be used for parking.

Metrolink discount - save money

You can enjoy special discounted Metrolink Tram tickets with your Bridgewater Hall visit. Adult tickets are £3.00 and child fares £1.50 offering unlimited travel to and from any station after 9.30am throughout the day of the performance. You must purchase your voucher at The Bridgewater Hall Box Office.

The Bridgewater Hall
The Bridgewater Hall is open from 11am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday, from 5pm on concert nights, and from 12 noon for Family concerts. Closing times vary and depend on the duration of the concert.

The Stalls Café Bar
Open Monday to Friday from 11am-2.30pm (last orders), and from 5pm on concert days. The perfect spot for morning coffee and lunch, the Stalls Café Bar also offers pre-performance dining to sit down from 5.30pm-6.45pm. Prices start at £5 and places for pre-performance dining are reservable through the Box Office.

The Charles Hallé Restaurant
Open from 5.30pm on concert nights.
Make a night of it and enjoy a mouth-watering supper pre-performance, in our award-winning restaurant. Enjoy the best value for money, quality cuisine in Manchester, with a fixed price menu du jour and tables reservable in advance through the Box Office. Two courses are £20 and three courses £25.

Pre-concert and interval drinks
Bars are open on all four levels, serving before the concert and during the interval. Coffee is served in the Stalls and Circle bars. We recommend that you pre-order your interval drinks (this service is available from all bars).

The Bridgewater Hall Shop
Open Monday to Friday from 11am-3.30pm and from 5pm on concert days. Browse and buy cards, CDs, jewellery and contemporary gifts in the Hallé's stylish shop.
