INSET Hallé Education's INSET Sessions are run for non-specialist primary school teachers, with the aim of encouraging and guiding them in teaching music in the classroom. Hallé INSET sessions aim to:
- increase the confidence of primary school teachers, especially those who consider themselves non-specialists, to deliver the national curriculum for music.
- inform teachers about the latest educational research that emphasises creative and participatory music as an essential element of every child's education.
- provide a series of warm-up exercises and ice-breaker games that are a suitable means of preparing classes of children for creative music workshops.
Teachers' Packs Hallé Education produces Teachers' Packs for some of the projects it mounts in order to help teachers prepare their classes for projects and to provide lesson plans and other resources as a legacy of the project. |
