Welcome to the Hallé, Britain's longest-established symphony orchestra, founded in Manchester by Sir Charles Hallé in 1858. The Hallé's present Music Director is Mark Elder CBE.
The Hallé Choir and Hallé Youth Choir are directed by the Hallé's Choral Director James Burton. The Hallé Youth Orchestra is directed by the Hallé's Assistant Conductor, Rory Macdonald.
The Hallé CD label was launched in 2003 and features a number of highly-acclaimed recordings. These discs are available to buy on this site and remember that they come with FREE postage and packing to UK mainland addresses. |
