The Capitol Years

IN SUPPORT OF THE CHARLES HALLÉ FOUNDATION

After their sell-out success in previous seasons with the songs of Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole, Gary Williams and John Wilson return to the Hallé Pops with a special concert dedicated to the heyday of Capitol Records. One of the most successful labels of all time, Capitol Studios boasted a host of singing legends.

This evening's concert features songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Matt Monro, Dean Martin, Vic Damone and Bing Crosby among others, together with music made popular by Sarah Vaughan, Judy Garland and many more.
