Our season ends with a tribute to one of film music's greatest creators - John Williams. Responsible for some of the most memorable and moving music for the big screen, Williams has been hailed as a genius by Steven Spielberg. If Spielberg is king of the blockbuster, then Williams is the king of the blockbuster score. 'His music tells the story' says Spielberg, 'it does more than set a scene - it helps bring it to life.' We also hear the work of some of Williams's most important influences, themselves major contributors to this unique form of entertainment.
