Student placements
From time to time the Hallé Education Programme provides student placement opportunities. In the past these have included working in the Hallé's Early Years programme, assisting at schools concerts, working with our musicians at the Seashell Trust (formerly the Royal School for the Deaf and Communication Disorders), working at Thorn Cross Young Offenders Institution on our HALLÉ4BRASS project and assisting at Family Concert workshops. Information on future placement schemes can be found in this section.
Hallé Family Concert Workshops
Family Concerts take place on Sunday afternoons, during the season. Each concert has an attached workshop for up to 40 children and take place on the morning of the concert. Students from the RNCM and Manchester University can volunteer to assist at these workshops.
