Summer Concerts

The nights are getting lighter and summer is on its way! Join the Hallé for a heady cocktail of music in the beautiful surroundings of The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester. There are five summer concerts to inspire you during June and July. Thank Hallé it’s Friday (23 June) is our first drive time concert and Roald Dahl’s Cinderella and Friends (25 June) is a matinee featuring the Hallé Children’s Choir. July gives way to A Russian Spectacular (1 July) and It’s Showtime! (8 July) before concluding with the ever-popular and rousing Last Night of the Hallé Proms (16 July). We look forward to celebrating with you.

All prices and tickets including discounts and concessions, are subject to availability. Prices may change and you may only use one discount per ticket.

Everyone, including babes in arms for appropriate concerts, must have a purchased ticket. Other than for specific family concerts, we recommend that younger members of our audiences be at least of primary school age.

Box office opening hours

  • Monday to Saturday 10am – 6pm (8pm on concert nights)
  • Sunday (concert nights only) 12pm – 8pm
  • Closed on non-concert Sundays

Under 30s discount †

Anyone aged 30 or under can now save 15% off many of the Hallé’s prices.

Claimants & Over 60s †

Claimants can purchase tickets at 10% off on production of appropriate identification. From two Mondays prior to the performance, over 60s may purchase any remaining tickets and get a 20% discount.

Group discounts – save up to 25%

  • Groups of 10-29 save 10%
  • Groups of 30-49 save 15%
  • Groups of 50+ save 25%

Hallé day tickets †

A limited number of tickets will be on sale on the day of each concert priced at £12 (including booking fee). When available, they can be booked in person, by phone or online.

Tickets for disabled patrons

Disabled patrons save 50%, and, if a carer is required, the carer comes free. Disabled concessions are not available online. The Bridgewater Hall is fully accessible and welcomes disabled patrons. By letting us know your access requirements, we will, where possible, be able to seat you appropriately. Please visit for full information or contact the Box Office on 0161 907 9000.

Booking fees

The Bridgewater Hall applies a booking fee of £2 per ticket to telephone and online transactions. Tickets bought in person at the Box Office using a debit or credit card are subject to a 2% booking fee.

No booking fee

No fee applies to tickets bought in person and paid for by cash or cheque or purchased as part of a fixed or flexible subscription.

Refunds / ticket exchange

Tickets cannot be refunded, but may be exchanged subject to The Bridgewater Hall’s terms and conditions. If you are unable to attend a concert, The Bridgewater Hall will credit your account with the cost of your tickets, provided they are physically returned to the Box Office at least three working days before the concert date. This credit amount (minus a return fee of £2.20 per ticket) can then be used to purchase tickets for another concert of your choice.
