This afternoon’s concert is dedicated to the creation of the world! The Hallé Children’s Choir join the Orchestra to perform Jonathan Dove’s brand new commission, A Brief History of Creation. Sir Mark and the Hallé will also be performing Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, a perfect introduction to the instruments of the orchestra for any age.

All prices and tickets including discounts and concessions, are subject to availability. Prices may change and you may only use one discount per ticket.

Everyone, including babes in arms for appropriate concerts, must have a purchased ticket. Other than for specific family concerts, we recommend that younger members of our audiences be at least of primary school age.

Under 26 discount

A limited number of seats in the stalls and circle, usually priced from £29 to £39 will be available at half price (plus booking fee) for people under 26.

Flexible subscriptions

Choose 5 or more concerts in the festival and receive a 15% discount on the full price tickets. Call the box office on 0161 907 9000.

* Booking fees

The Bridgewater Hall applies a booking fee of £2 per ticket to telephone and online transactions. Tickets bought in person at the Box Office using a debit or credit card are subject to a 2% booking fee. No fee applies to tickets bought in person and paid for by cash or cheque or purchased as part of a fixed or flexible subscription.

Box office opening hours

  • Monday to Saturday 10am – 6pm (8pm on concert nights)
  • Sunday (concert nights only) 12pm – 8pm
  • Closed on non-concert Sundays

Refunds / ticket exchange

Tickets cannot be refunded, but may be exchanged subject to The Bridgewater Hall’s terms and conditions. If you are unable to attend a concert, The Bridgewater Hall will credit your account with the cost of your tickets, provided they are physically returned to the Box Office at least three working days before the concert date. This credit amount (minus a return fee of £2.20 per ticket) can then be used to purchase tickets for another concert of your choice.
