Ancoats Community Choir

The Hallé runs a Community Choir here in the heart of Ancoats. We want you to be part of it!

If you’ve ever wanted to sing in a choir, this is your chance:

  • No auditions
  • No need to read music
  • No booking required
  • Just come along and have fun
  • Open to adults of all ages aged 18+

If you want the chance to learn a new skill, meet new people and have fun, then we would love to welcome you to Hallé at St Michael’s where all sessions are held.

Singing is led by Stuart Overington (also Director of the Hallé Youth Choir and Hallé Youth Training Choir), who is highly renowned in the North West for his work with his energetic and engaging approach. He will be joined by Matthew Roughley, who is Assistant Director of the Ancoats Community Choir.

‘Stuart was fantastic, enthusiastic, inclusive, encouraging and made us laugh.’ (Corporate Choir Competition member)

Participation costs just £15 for 4 weeks or £5 per session.
