The Hallé receives three nominations in new annual fundraising awards

5th May 2016

We are proud to announce that the Hallé has received nominations for the very first Emcees Arts & Culture Awards for Excellence in Fundraising. The new awards are designed to recognise great achievements in Arts sector fundraising and we are honoured to have been chosen.

We have been nominated twice for Best Corporate Partnership, both for our relationship with PZ Cussons and with First TransPennine Express.

In addition, we have been shortlisted for The National Arts Fundraising School Award for Innovation for our annual Hallé Corporate Choir Competition, which in now in its fourth year. Last year seven choirs took part, with the Siemens Choir eventually winning the opportunity to perform with the Hallé at our Christmas Sing-along on 18 December 2015.

Out of over 200 entrants, we are one of only 20 shortlisted organisations, and are the only one to receive three nominations, across two categories.

The winners will be announced during a ceremony at the Science Museum on 5 May 2016.
