Hallé Choral Academy
Our Autumn term has now started, if you would like more details on joining the Choral Academy now or in January 2022, please contact Anna Stutfield on firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you love singing and would like to understand a little more about how to sing well and read your score, then the Hallé Choral Academy might be just what you are looking for.
Everyone (aged 18+) is welcome to join the Choral Academy – no auditions or prior experience are required. Please note, places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Weekly sessions on Monday evenings will cover all aspects of choral singing including vocal technique, reading music and singing as an ensemble.
We are planning to restart ‘in-person’ sessions for September, and your safety as well as the safety of our team will always be our priority. We will create sessions that are safe and adhere to all current government guidelines. These sessions will be held at Hallé St Peters in Ancoats, Manchester and accessible by public transport.
The weekly sessions will concentrate on all aspects of choral singing, with a particular focus on learning to read music with confidence and sing healthily and well. Later in the season there may be the opportunity to perform with the Orchestra at The Bridgewater Hall.
Participation costs £75 per term, payable in September, January and April. Further details regarding the sessions and payments will be sent via email.
