The Hallé’s concert home in Manchester is the magnificent Bridgewater Hall. Hailed as having one of the greatest acoustics in Europe, the hall offers a comfortable, friendly atmosphere where you can eat, drink and enjoy our music and special pre-concert events. We have two other smaller venues in Ancoats, the historic former industrial heart of the city, close the Northern Quarter. These are Hallé St Peter’s and Hallé at St Michaels. Both buildings are former churches that have been converted for use as rehearsal, recording and small performance spaces.
Both Hallé St Peter’s and Hallé at St Michaels are available to hire, and you can get more information and contact details by visiting the links below.
The safety and well-being of our audiences and players is the Hallé and The Bridgewater Hall’s first concern.
The Bridgewater Hall
In keeping with Government expectations and recommendations, we are strongly advising everyone to continue to wear face coverings, where possible. The Hall will continue its thorough cleaning regime between performances, and we expect hand sanitizer to continue to be widely available. We urge you to consult The Bridgewater Hall website here which has full and regularly updated details.
