In common with many of our colleagues around the country who, like us, have been forced to cancel concerts and events, we are asking you to consider supporting us at this very difficult time, by donating the cost of your tickets during this period instead of requesting a refund. If it is at all possible for you to consider this, we would be very grateful for your generosity. Due to the current situation on Coronavirus, and in the light of Government’s advice given, we have decided to cancel this event.
To celebrate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth, the Hallé’s Permanent Guest Leader, Paul Barritt, the Hallé’s principal cello Nicholas Trygstad and pianist Darius Battiwalla perform perform the Variations for Cello and Piano on Bei Männern, the Violin Sonata in A major Op.30, No.1 and the Ghost Trio.
This is the third in a new collection of intimate concerts in the beautiful surroundings of Hallé St Peter’s, in the heart of Ancoats featuring members of the Hallé and guests.
