This afternoon’s concert at 3pm includes the creation of the world! The Hallé Children’s Choir join Sir Mark Elder and the Orchestra to perform the World Premiere of Jonathan Dove’s A Brief History of Creation (libretto by Alasdair Middleton). Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra is the perfect introduction to the instruments of the orchestra for any age and is sure to entertain with Tom Redmond’s brand new text.
