Francesca Dego will play Tchaikovsky’s perennially popular Violin Concerto, both rich in melody and finely crafted virtuoso writing culminating in the thrilling Cossack dance. A cruel sultan, a beautiful princess and a thousand and one nights of pleasure: might sound like a box of Turkish delight but make no mistake, Scheherazade is one of classical music’s wickedest treats! A Russian Masterpieces Finale.
This event is managed by Stoke-on-Trent Classics and is part of the Stoke-on-Trent Festival (SOT Festival). For more information, please visit this website, call Music Mania on 01782 206 000 or visit Music Mania, 3 Piccadilly Arcade, in person.
