Clemens Schuldt
Featuring:
Chloe Hanslip, violin
Returning to the Hull City Hall Classics series with Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto is the ‘passionate, eloquent’ (The Independent) soloist Chloë Hanslip, who is no stranger to this favourite of romantic music in the violin repertoire.
In the second half of the concert, the Hallé Orchestra, conducted by Clemens Schuldt, will perform Dvořak’s Symphony No.8. It is a piece that is brought to life with its the lyricism and use of melody, giving a dance-like sense of joy through the woodwind and moments of provocative power in the strings. The concert also includes Haydyn’s Symphony No.30.
This event is managed by Hull New Theatre.
