The Isle of Man Arts Council is proud to announce the return of Manchester’s world-famous Hallé, following a sell-out performance in 2017. Sir Mark Elder, Hallé Music Director, returns with the orchestra in a programme of Wagner, Beethoven and Weber. The evening also includes guest soloist Sheku Kanneh-Mason performing Elgar’s monumental Cello Concerto, a piece that has seen him reach number one in the classical charts and also break into the mainstream charts. This success, along with his performance at the Royal Wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the mesmerising performances with his siblings as the Kanneh-Mason Trio, has seen Sheku rise as a star in the classical world.

Kindly supported by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.
